THE LADDER BARREL
Our certified teachers have comprehensive formal training with over 700 hours of rigorous study in the Classical Pilates Method.
They understand how to apply sound bio mechanical principles of movement that will strengthen and balance the body while restoring ease and economy in movement. They understand the relationship between physical demands and compensating for imbalances and limitations in movement and flexibility.
Lyndsy was a college student with a competitive cheerleader background who was strong yet had muscular imbalances that caused back pain. She entered the Teague Teacher Training Program and upon completion was pain free, stronger, more powerful and in control. She now has her own studio on the East Coast.
THE CLASSIC CADILLAC
Our teachers are qualified to effectively design programs for clients with high levels of physical conditioning, as well as those with limitations and conditions such as fibromyalgia, scoliosis, osteoporosis, arthritis, back pain, various injuries, pre-natal and post-natal.
Valerie doing the second walkover in the video began practicing Pilates with us in 2011. She had no exercise experience. She has been doing Pilates an average of four times a week and has proven that consistent practice under the watchful eyes of our knowledgeable and passionate teachers pays off. Her strong, svelte, agile body is like that of someone thirty to forty years younger.
Pilates strengthens and balances the body, promotes uniform development, improves breathing, realigns the skeletal system, elongates muscles, improves joint mobility, flexibility, and corrects neuromuscular disorders. It is an aerobic workout that flows, energizes and promotes health, wellness and fitness for ages nine to ninety.
Here are a couple of our Teacher Training graduates and a client flowing thru an advanced Mat Trio session. These advanced movements are accomplished through mastering the basic foundational classical exercises and are attainable to anyone committed to studying and learning to apply simple Classical Pilates principles.

THE UNIVERSAL REFORMER
The Reformer moves naturally with the body, correcting movement patterns by simply putting the body into a better position to move from, and then supporting and resisting it along the way. Consequently, it brings the body into a better form and condition while bringing balance and harmony. Athletes particularly need balance and harmony in their training regimen to prevent temporary and permanent injuries and achieve higher performance levels.
Chris is a motor cross competitor and tennis player who has improved his athletic performance by working out weekly at Teague Classical Pilates for the past 18 years. He has improved his strength, flexibility, range of motion, and coordination. You can watch his testimonial video on our home.
